Tap water supply is available 24/7 in every house. The sources of water supply are "harvested rainwater at community level" and "canals" nearby our village.
Water is chlorinated periodically by Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) keeping the chlorine levels below 5 mg/L at any point of time.
Also, water samples are periodically tested for assessment of hardness and presence of different types of pathogens specially coliforms. Hardness is maintained between 0 to 45 mg/L and coliform bacteria "NIL" per 100 ml of drinking water.
PHED system uses latest RO techniques for supplying potable water.
